Elisabetta has been running from her past for far too long, but when she lands in Portland, she’s ready to start fresh. Her love of cooking brings her to a place she can call her own. She’s determined not to get involved with anyone. Her focus is the bakery. But one meeting with realtor, Rome Donovan, knocks the breath from her lungs. No man has ever affected her like he does.
The more she pushes, the more he pulls, until finally, the beautiful baker relents and agrees to a date.
It’s only one night.
That’s all it can ever be.

'Only One Night' is a sweet, steamy, and delightful novel about two people who can't help but fall in love with each other. Elisabet is in the clutches of her father and fiance, and she decides to take control of her life and moves to New York to set up a bakery. Rome is an estate agent who owns the bakery building. He has his setbacks due to the consequences of his actions in the past. Will they overcome their obstacles to win their happily ever after?

My favorite character in this novel was Marco Gianetti. He was unpredictable. His relationship with Elisabet was endearing as well. Rome was a breath of fresh air as he was not the usual alpha jerk portrayed in books of this genre. This novel is written in the first person in both Rome and Elisabet's perspective and has consistent pacing. If there was more emphasis on plot and the other background characters than just Rome and Elisabet's romance, I would've been more engaged. It was a comfy read. 'Only One Night' is recommended to all steamy romance fans. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
